MOO-Slick Ultra Fine Graphite Coating is a premium dry lubricant built for applications where traditional oils and greases create unwanted drag, attract debris, and demand constant replacement. Formulated with ultra-fine micronized graphite, it works in a fundamentally different way than a typical lubricant, and for the right application, an even more effective one. Rather than separating two surfaces the way oil, grease, or silicone do, it actually hones and fills microscopic imperfections in the surface itself, letting two surfaces behave well with each other smoothly. That improvement to the surface is permanent, so while the visible coating gradually dissipates over time, the benefit lingers.
Ideal not just for racers, speed run enthusiasts, and precision RC applications, but for a wide range of everyday moving assemblies across the hobby, MOO-Slick Ultra Fine Graphite Coating is especially effective on axles, hinge pins, pivot points, pillow balls, bushings, CVDs, universals, gears, and other moving components. Because the graphite fills and smooths surface imperfections rather than lubricating in the traditional sense, it can also help reduce noise and improve mesh consistency on rough-running gear sets. It may be recommended on bearings in certain situations, but because bearings run on especially precision tolerances, graphite's surface-honing action there is best suited to lower total mileage applications like drag racing or speed runs, where a vehicle's total runtime and distance are less significant. For regular bearing use, Ultra Thin Oil with PTFE is generally the better fit, though depending on the situation, Ultra Light Grease Coating or even Udder Butter can also be the right call.

Some tips from the team:
- Graphite settles incredibly fast, shake vigorously before each use.
- Graphite STAINS everything porous, so work over a disposable surface like cardboard, and keep clothing, pit mats, and anything else nearby clear of overspray drift.
- Apply 2–3 light, even coats, more like spray painting a primer than a finish coat. Nothing should look wet, puddled, or pooled — if it's not glazing over and curing almost instantly, you're applying too much.
- Unlike traditional lubricants, Graphite Coating doesn't protect the surface underneath from corrosion or moisture, though the coating itself is unaffected by water. If that's your primary concern, this isn't the right product for the job.
