Insta-Flex Flexible Thin CA
Thin enough to penetrate, flexible enough to last.
Insta-Flex is Bob Smith Industries' flexible thin CA, formulated to stay clear and resist turning brittle once cured, even when accelerated with INSTA-SET. It carries superior shock resistance and a less irritating odor than standard CAs, though it still can't be used on white foam. It's not quite as thin as Insta-Cure, but it retains good penetrating qualities while being easier to control during application.
Insta-Flex is especially well-suited to CA hinges. For the best result, drill a 1/16" hole in the center of each hinge slot before applying, this ensures complete saturation of the hinge. It's also proven to be a superior choice for bonding anodized aluminum.
Works best on:
Balsa wood, glass and metal, rubber, CA hinges.
Works good on:
Soft wood, hard wood, fiberglass, ceramics, hard plastics, laminating, water-resistant applications, reinforcing.
