IC-LOC Purple is Bob Smith Industries' low-strength thread locker, built for small fasteners that need to stay put through everyday vibration and use, without ever locking down so hard you need power tools to get them apart again. It's the pick for anything you expect to service or adjust down the road, bolts, screws, and nuts you want secured, not sealed shut.
Beyond preventing loosening, IC-LOC Purple also seals the threads themselves, helping guard against rust and corrosion over time.
To apply, shake the bottle well, then cut the tip and apply to clean, dry threads before assembling non-plastic parts. It sets in about 10 minutes, with a full cure at 24 hours. IC-LOC Purple is anaerobic, meaning it only cures in the absence of air, exactly the condition created once a bolt, screw, or nut is tightened down. Once cured, it holds up across a wide temperature range, from 60 below zero up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Note that it may attack some plastics, so keep it to metal fasteners. Any leftover residue wipes away easily with a damp cloth.

One tip from the team: Before capping the bottle back up, wipe the tip clean and make sure it's capped tightly. A clogged or dried-out tip is the easiest way to lose a bottle before it's actually empty.
