IC-LOC Blue Medium Thread Locker
Locked down, but never locked out.
IC-LOC Blue is Bob Smith Industries' medium-thickness, medium-strength thread locker, built for fasteners that need real holding power without giving up the ability to service them later. Applied to fastener threads before assembly, once IC-LOC Blue cures, it prevents loosening from normal use and vibration, while still allowing the fastener to be removed later with standard hand tools. Beyond preventing loosening, it also seals the threads to help guard against rust and corrosion.
To apply, shake the bottle well, then apply IC-LOC Blue to clean, dry threads before assembling non-plastic parts. It sets in about 10 minutes, with a full cure at 24 hours. IC-LOC Blue is anaerobic, meaning it only cures in the absence of air, exactly the condition created once a bolt, screw, or nut is tightened down. Once cured, it holds up across a wide temperature range, from 60 below zero up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Any leftover residue wipes away easily with a damp cloth.

A couple tips from the team: Before capping the bottle back up, wipe the tip clean and make sure it's capped tightly, a clogged or dried-out tip is the easiest way to lose a bottle before it's actually empty. And since this is a fastener you'll likely remove and reinstall more than once, less is more, using just enough to get the job done helps avoid wearing down the threads over repeated removals.

The .33oz bottle is sized for occasional repairs and single projects. The 1.69oz bottle is the better value if you work with thread locker regularly.
