Tips from the Team

• Keep it dry. Cleaning Snot isn't meant for wet or oily surfaces, its absorbent nature means it'll soak up any water or oil it touches, turning it into a slimy mess.
• Watch the altitude. Cleaning Snot is sensitive to changes in barometric pressure, so traveling by air or moving between climates can leave it feeling slimy when you open the container again. If that happens, spread it out on a flat, non-porous surface like a countertop and check it every fifteen minutes or so until it firms back up to a tacky, workable feel.
• Too dry, not done. If it's dried out but hasn't hardened into a solid brick, it can still be saved. Less is more here, wet just the tip of your finger, no dripping water, and slowly work that moisture back into the piece, since adding too much at once will turn it slimy and hard to work with again.
• Keep dirty pieces separate. Since Cleaning Snot is so absorbent, a dirty piece will spread its grime through a clean batch if you toss them back together. Keep used pieces in their own bag or container instead.
