SUPER-GOLD+ is Bob Smith Industries' odorless, foam-safe CA in a medium, gap-filling thickness, built for the foam and plastic builds where standard CA falls short. It won't attack white foam and won't fog clear plastic, making it a safe choice for foam-core wings and the assembly or repair of plastic and foam ARFs. It's also ideal for attaching clear canopies on plastic kits, though Maxi-Cure is still the better call for the rest of a plastic kit's assembly. Compared to Insta-Cure+, it takes only two or three seconds longer to bond, a small trade-off for a formula with no irritating fumes.
SUPER-GOLD+ bonds wood to white foam in under fifteen seconds. For foam-to-foam bonds, spray a light fog of INSTA-SET onto one piece and apply SUPER-GOLD+ to the other before joining, just be careful not to overdo the INSTA-SET, since excess can generate enough heat to melt the foam. Once cured, SUPER-GOLD+ sets to a more flexible bond than standard CA, giving it better shock absorption. It's also a strong choice any time you're saturating fiberglass or Kevlar with a large amount of CA, since it skips the harsh evaporating fumes that come with repeated heavy use of standard formulas.
