Insta-Cure+ Medium Gap Filling Cyanoacrylate
Built to bridge the gaps thin CA can't.
Insta-Cure+ is Bob Smith Industries' higher-viscosity CA, formulated for loose-fitting joints where the adhesive needs to bridge a gap rather than just wick into a tight seam. It's also the better choice for large surface areas, including close-fitting laminations, where a thin CA would spread too far too fast. To keep it from curing prematurely, avoid spreading it into a thin film, lay down a serpentine bead with about an inch of separation instead, then let the pressure of assembly spread the CA out naturally.
Standard application is to apply Insta-Cure+ to one side of the parts being joined, then hold them tightly together for 5 to 15 seconds. For finer applications, use the included extender tip. If any CA oozes from the joint, a spray of Insta-Set accelerator will cure it in place. Full strength is reached in three hours, and cured CA holds up across a temperature range of -40 to 220°F. Wipe the nozzle clean before replacing the cap, and soak the extender tip in acetone for cleaning.
A couple tips from the team: Wipe the nozzle clean and cap the bottle tightly after every use, a clogged or dried-out tip is the easiest way to lose a bottle before it's actually empty. And keep the bottle refrigerated when it's not in use, CA has a much shorter shelf life at room temperature, so that habit alone can add months of usable life to a bottle.

Available in three sizes
The .5oz bottle is sized for occasional repairs and single projects. The 1oz bottle is a solid middle ground for regular use. The 2oz bottle is the better value if you go through CA often.
