Shock Cleanup

Posted by Mike Panackia on 29th Oct 2022

Changing your shock oil can get messy. Oil can get on your shock bodies and caps. This can attract unwanted dirt. These quick and easy steps will get your shocks clean in no time!

Moo-Kleen Part And Chassis Wash is the answer. After you have filled your shocks and bleeding is completed, just spray a generous amount on the entire shock and let stand for a few minutes. This time will allow the formula to penetrate through the soiled area.

I like to use a toothbrush to get in between the threads of the body, making sure all the oil and grime is gone. Now just wipe clean.

I like using the Part And Chassis Wash on my shocks. The non-corrosive, rubber and plastic safe formula is perfect for this application. This gives you confidence that your shocks will get as clean as possible without the worry of harming the integrity of your seals. MOO-Kleen Part and Chassis Wash is clean, safe, and effective. Seems like a no brainer to me!
