Secure Set Screws

Have the set screws backed out or come loose on your pinion or spool? I'm sure it's happened at one time or another. I use these two easy steps to make sure my screws stay nice and secure.

Spray MOO-Kleen  Electronic Cleaner And Degreaser on the screw. This will take off any oil that the manufacturer used for packaging. Eliminating any oil or dirt allows for a better curing process when adding the thread locker.

Next, add a small amount of blue CowRC IC-Loc. The blue is strong enough to keep the metal screw in place, yet you will still be able to unscrew it if needed.

Insert screw and allow to dry.
