Bearing Maintenance

Posted by Mike Panackia on 6th Nov 2022

Bearings are obviously an important component in your RC. Proper maintenance and care is imperative to keep your bearings at their highest performance while maintaining longevity.

This is an effective way to ensure proper cleaning.

Use a hobby knife to remove the seals.

Pour Moo-Kleen Part And Chassis Wash into an ultrasonic cleaner and place the bearings inside. Run a cycle or two, then remove. Spin the bearings to make sure everything is smooth. Then blow dry and add your desired bearing oil.

You can use Moo-Kleen Electronic Cleaner And Degreaser to wipe off the grime from your seals before snapping them back on.

For added protection, apply Moo-Slick to the outside of the bearings before installing.

"Kleen" as a whistle! See ya at the track.
